Chris Heuer, what can I say that I have not said already in my 1/15 newsletter, Chris is a kindred spirit for sure. Here he writes about something near and dear to me... RETURN ON RELATIONSHIP  /Ted

What is the Return on Relationship? #RoR

It is often something that can not be quantified, at least in advance. But as John Hagel laid out in his brilliant book #PowerOfPull the benefits of serendipity come when you go out in the world, when you put yourself out in the world, when you are in the arena risking your very life and not just in the stands.

In the midst of a very busy day, I opened Ted Rubin's email newsletter and started to scan it to see what new pearls of wisdom I might gain. At first I scanned by my name in it, thinking it was a new personalization... but then I realized it was even more personal than that.

He shared an article I wrote last month on Linkedin!

Maybe something will come from it. Maybe it won't. Regardless, seeing it was a big boost to me and a reminder of how important it is to simply be a cheerleader and supporter of our friends, of the people we respect, of the people we care about. When the intention is so clear and pure hearted, that is the foundation of all good things to come, and with the expression of that kindness, that in itself is enough.

Thank you Ted. (BTW - Dedicated Mentorship. I like that phrasing.)
